Dear Student
Reports are coming in confirming that CAT 15 will be having the shortest testing window.
For CAT 2015 there may be a single-day window in two-sessions rather than on two-days in four sessions like last year.
CAT 2015 going to be convened by IIM Ahmedabad in partnership with testing agency TCS placing CAT at the same good old standard. With lesser test windows it is expected that difficulty level may go on a little higher side.
We will keep you updated with all the latest information on CAT 15. Stay connected.
Best Wishes!!

How true is it?
This question is probably way tougher than what we might face in CAT, but is a fun question nevertheless. 1/a + 1/b + 1/c = 1. where a, b, c are distinct natural numbers. How many such triplets exist (unordered triplets)?
three sprinters A,B,C had to sprint from points P to Q and back again (starting in that order). The time interval between the starting times of three sprinter A,B,C was 5 second each. Thus C started 10 second earlier than A and B started 5 second earlier than A.The sprinter passed a certain point R simultaneously which is somewhere between P and Q.Having reached Q and reversed the direction the third sprinter meet the 2nd sprinter 9m short of Q and 1st sprinter 15m short of Q.find the speed of 1st sprinter if PQ=55m
This is not a question post. I want an explanation.
Assume the cost of raw materials is 300rs and cost of wages is 450rs. Cost of materials goes up in the ratio 3:7 so it becomes 350. Cost of wages goes up in ratio 4:9 and so it becomes 675rs.
I want to know how do these terms correlate. The value change from 300 to 350 and 450 to 675. I know this seems like a noob doubt, but I am a little bad at maths.
Thanks in advance puys.
Cost of an article (composed of raw materials and wages) was 3 times the value of raw materials. The cost of raw materials increased in the ratio 3:7 and wages increased in the ratio 4:9. Find present cost of article if ooriginal price was 18Rs
Natural number n less than 100 exists such that n is not a factor of (n - 1) !. How many different values can n take?
Two runners begin running from the same point around a circular track in the same directions with speeds in the ratio 27:38. If the time elapsed between any two meetings at the same point is 77secs. What is the time elapsed between the 19th and 35th instance when the runners are diametrically opposite each other?
Options: 113 secs;114;116;112
Let us see if we can have more of a go at Number Systems. A prime number N > 200 leaves a remainder r on division by 72. How many different values can r take?
I have doubt in one of the LRs in CL mock.
one of the points states that :
"If J enrolls for both the courses, then E and F will also enroll for both the courses."
This implies that => when J will not enroll for both the courses, E and F will not enroll for both courses
BUT only E alone may enroll for both courses and J may enroll for 1 OR
only J alone may enroll for both courses and E may enroll for 1
Is this reasoning correct ?
i want to shift to CL from TIME. if anybody is interested in buying TIME AIMCATS BASIC SERIES ,PM me !

Out of 128 boxes of oranges, each box contains at least 120 and at most 144 oranges. Find the minimum number of boxes containing the same number of oranges is at least?
answer is 6.
Please provide explanation.
a, b, c are three distinct integers from 2 to 10 (both inclusive). Exactly one of ab, bc and ca is odd. abc is a multiple of 4. The arithmetic mean of a and b is an integer and so is the arithmetic mean of a, b and c. How many such triplets are possible (unordered triplets)?
