S is a set of four-digit numbers formed using the digits 5, 6, 7 and 8 using each digit only once. M is a subset of S that contains numbers whose tens place digit is a prime number. What is the sum of all the numbers in M?

Is there a general formula for this??

Guys i am facing problems in these questions:- They are straightforward i guess but i still can't understand the logic behind them

Hi guys in the last questions of this below post (straight line division)

http://cat100percentile.com/2013/01/23/weighted-averages-3/ the answer is (11, -5). But if we use direct formula (13*1+1*5)/(5+1), (-8*1+10*5)/(5+1)=(3, 7). where am I doing wrong

A number of candidates were called for an interview and from these candidates three will be chosen. On the stipulated day, except two, all were present. If you make a team of three candidates from those who were present on that particular day, the probability that your team will be chosen by the board is 1/20, find the number of candidates who were called for the interview

In an exam , the average was found to be x marks. After deducting computational error , the average marks of 94 candidates got reduce from 84 to 64 . The average thus came down by 18.8 marks . The number of candidates who took exam where?

A bag contains 100 red balls and a certain number of green balls. Two persons A and B draw a ball one by one with replacement. The first one to draw a green ball is the winner. A picks up the ball first and we also know that because of this A is three times more likely to win. Find the number of green balls.
