Is it possible to give 2(two) attempts (with gap of 15 days between the two attempts) in Jan for nmat?
Have seen the window in nmat from 8th to 31st Jan when booking slots hence wanted to know if I can give two attempts between 8th and 31st with the required gap of 15 days? Let me know! :)
@NmatbyGmac My exam was scheduled on 20th December at 5 AM. Owing to a technical glitch (communication error) on the NMAT browser, due to no fault on my end, I was forced to forfeit the attempt and was declared a 'No Show' on my scorecard. I sent a mail to NMAT Support and they reverted stating that I would be allowed to take the attempt again. But I have not received any further correspondence from the. What is the next course of action? Please address this issue ASAP.
Are the sectionals and total safe? Also what are the chances of conversion at this score? Would this score lie towards the lower end of the qualified student or in the midle? I don't think it'll be on the higher end for sure
I have a doubt. If I have higher overall score in the retake compared to previous attempt and I'm able to clear the overalls from the both attempts but not the sectionals from the second attempt. Then in this case will I get a call?
NMAT attempt #1
LS : 94
LR : 83
QS : 74 - 🤦🏽♂️
OA : 251
I was aiming for a 260+ to be on the safer side as I saw a lot of people here in the 245-260 range and ended up with this eventually😪
Seems like a retake is required to be sure of a call + eventual convert with a score of 260 atleast.
The quant section felt lengthy and difficult... What do y'all think will the OA & QS cut-off be this year?
Also, the TA/Proctor was being such a jerk at my (Borivali, Mumbai) center....gave only 1 sheet and when asked whether extra sheets would be provided, said no...and only after I argued with him and asked him to call the NMAT/GMAC people or his n+1, he gave me a 2nd sheet before starting the exam..
I have a doubt. If I have a higher overall score in the retake compared to the previous attempt and I'm able to clear the overalls from both attempts but not the sectionals from the second attempt. Then in this case will I get a call?
An example would be that I get a 250 in the first attempt with all sectionals clear and then 265 with the reattempt but with one of the sectionals not getting cleared then which of the two scores would be considered?
--The second one is the better of the two scores but then I don't have the sectionals clear in that and that can ruin my chances as a whole.
Hi guys. Is there anyone facing slot booking issues for retake? I am trying to book a slot for my test city (Mumbai, Maharashtra), but there are no dates available, even in January. I have already paid the retake fees and tried contacting NMAT to no avail. Does this mean there will be no slots available or will the retake fees be refunded? Can anyone help me with this?

Guys I have a small doubt.I paid the retake fee and now I have to select between home based or center based.Suppose I choose center based but later find out there aren't any centres available. Then can I change back to home proctored(I know after choosing the center, mode change isn't available.I'm asking for the case before I book the center)?
Nmat 2020
QA 85
LR 90
VA 95
Overall - 270
The scorecard which I got immediately after the completion of the exam and the official scorecard reflect the same scores.
I wanted to know if any further scaling of marks will take place before the final percentile is announced.
If yes, what kind of scaling should i expect as the marks which we receive on the official scorecard are already scaled based on the paper's difficulty.
Thank You in advance ☺️
