First attempt. QA: 84 Verbal/ Lang: 93 Logic:85 Total 262 Is it enough. Or might need retake?
If you redchedule the exam for second attempt, do we have to again fill nmims Mumbai form on their website

First Attempt.
Worried about QA. Will it be enough to make the cut?
@OfficialGMAT @NmatbyGmac I had appeared for my first attempt for NMAT exam (GMAC ID : GD200059804) on 7th December as per the schedule (3pm). I had undergone all the formalities with the proctor and thereafter the proctor asked me to go ahead and click on the final "Next" button and start the exam. To my surprise, there was no Next button and possibly as per the proctor, it got hidden behind the "GoToMeeting" client that keeps running - which I was unable to minimise. Proctor stood with me, tried few things, but eventually she asked to restart the whole system, and join back the session. After confirming twice, I had restarted the system, went back to NMAT dashboard of mine, and there was no option to "Begin Test" again. There was no way I could get connected to the Proctor, the examity customer care call was not getting picked up. Only after an hour, when I was able to speak to examity customer care, who let me know that it has gone into "incompleted" status and thereafter it meant that the exam was a no show on the NMAT dashboard.
I spoke to examity customer care who tried to help me but they could just raise a Case Id : and eventually they told me that its a problem from NMAT side.
As I strongly believe into getting into NMIMS for myself, if this attempt is gone, and if the management is not able to give me a retake of the same exam, I would be greatful.
I really dont want to waste my 3 attempts, and since we would need atleast 15 days in betweek to schedule for the next, please help me out asap and please re-instate this attempt as well. I have been unable to contact NMAT executives via a phone call, could you please help me out with a contact number as well.

After seeing the dearth of genuine information available I thought of writing for all the future MBA Aspirants. I am currently working in a top consulting firm from past 3 years. Did my MBA from one of the TOP IIMs.
Students have no choice but to follow whatever misguiding or misleading information available. Fortunately I had someone at home who can guide me and tell me about the exact positioning of college ranking as per industries point of view, career progressions in long run, brand recognition internationally etc which are never talked of.
1)IIM C ( Leading)/ IIM B ( Location advantage and peer learning)
2)IIM A ( A brand )/ ISB ( future of MBA in India) / SPJIMR ( Good Peer learning) /IIM L / IIM I
3) FMS/ MDI/ IIMK/ IIT Mumbai/ IIFT D/NITIE/ IIM SHILLONG
4) IIM Trichy / SIBM / XLRI/ IIFT K/JBIMS
*Special mentions ( less available information)*
Now the people from IITs/ Premier institutes should target 1) and if they don't get it they should try for PGDBA IIMC+IITK+ISI ( Excellent program with expertise of three top institutions).
Option for 2) can be prepare for next year ( giving next year is valid for people less than 3-4 yrs of experience) or Give GMAT and try for foreign University ( which gives immense exposure realised after working)
For option 3)&4) the students if want to do MBA this year anyhow then check-out the data analytics MBA from few IIMs or check out Great Lakes/ Goa Institute/ IFIM Banglore Data analytics program ( Since data is the next boom).
*Suggestion to students who are very ambitious in life and want to achieve the best go for PGDBA/ IIMC/IIMB/ISB/IIMA and nothing less.

Any college except these is not recommended from my side. Before making a decision checkout the alumni and how many years have they taken to reach this position.

(**Disclaimer:- Many would argue with the rankings but honestly with all the personal experiences and shared experiences this is the best. I have not done my MBA from 1) either but my brother did. And one of my friend she took the PGDBA option she has moved up ladder very fast. )

Is actual paper of nmat similar in difficulty to official mock given on site ?? I.see many people mentioning that the mock is much easier but I am seeing the scores of people almost same in both the mock and the actual NMAT. Please can someone clarify

There are no dates available after 15 december. how is it possible there is a whole month of january and half december left. surely they will add more slots in dec and january right? i am asking for only test centre based slots.
