why are scaled scores of each section out of 120 for all the ubjects when in english it should be out of 96 and for quant it should be 144?

Slot 1 Hi are people getting really less scores than expected? Verbal was very easy. I've got 66/120 just slightly higher than 50% marks. Is there a provision for a recheck anywhere?
Hey! I got 213 in first attempt but I wish to retake and increase my score, suppose if I receive less marks than this in my retake which marks will be considered for calls? Best of all or only the retake one?

Break-up is:
QA -74/120
LS - 68/120
LR - 80/120.
Should I go for a retake? I'm a little confused as to why the scores are out of 120 and not 96 and 144 and how will this impact the cut-offs. Any help is much appreciated.
