For all people distressing themselves about CAT percentile … take a look here. Almost 50% people who converted last year had a CAT percentile less than 90%ile. If you have a %ile above 90, your only qualm should be if you want to apply/join or not.

Here you can get a more realistic picture. Even on GMAT and GRE… most people who accepted an admit were those with GMAT ~ 650 and GRE ~ 310, check them out on Linkedin.
Like I said usually it take 20 days at max. Rarely would you have to wait longer.

Currently (Feb 8th), the Application Evaluation Committee is evaluating R1 (CAT), and some R2 applications.
Interview shortlist emails are sent out on a rolling basis.
R1 (CAT) offers are expected to be distributed by March. R2 offers can take up till April.
BITSoM sends out both offer and reject emails. If you haven’t received an email yet, it’s most likely because your application is still under review.

Does that mean those of us who applied for the deadline of Jan 31st won’t be judged based on our CAT score?
The app review committee began the review process in Dec itself.
Majority of candidates who submitted applications in R1 (21 Nov) with GRE or GMAT scores should have gotten decisions by now.
Currently, R1 candidates with CAT results are being reviewed (since CAT scores were only announced on January 3rd) as well as GRE and GMAT students who uploaded scores after the R1 deadline yet submitted applications in R1.
For R2 (30 Jan) - CAT, GRE, GMAT will be reviewed simultaneously.
The merit based scholarships will be released with the PI result?

I have received a PI call from BITSOM and available dates are 18th and 21st Feb. When I am trying to book the slot for 21st Feb, it is showing that the slots are full and unfortunately, I have another interview scheduled on 18th so I won’t be able to take up that that. Can you please help me here and advice me how to proceed?
