Not at all. These days, in several leading institutes across India, students get jobs to work closer to their hometowns. So, is it in LIBA too. Choosing LIBA will not limit your placement opportunities to the South. LIBA has a strong national reputation, and companies recruit for roles across India including Delhi, NCR, Mumbai, and other northern cities. Many students are placed in or near their home region based on their preference.

At the same time, once you experience Chennai and the professional exposure available in the South, you may find yourself drawn to opportunities here as well. Ultimately, studying at LIBA gives you the flexibility to build a career anywhere in the country.

Can I convert LIBA’s Executive Diploma later to a full MBA / PGDM, or is it totally separate track?

PGDM and the Executive Diploma programs are distinct academic tracks, and as such, conversion from the Executive Diploma to the PGDM is not possible

Hi everyone! I’m Aakash from Chennai, a BBA graduate from Loyola College with a strong interest in business strategy, marketing, and public policy.

I chose LIBA because of its focus on values-driven management and its peer learning culture. The exposure here has been good —combining analytical learning with collaborative growth through rigor club activities and real-world projects.

For aspirants, I’d say:

“LIBA pushes you to grow beyond comfort zones — shaping not just a manager, but a leader who’s ready for the real world.”

If I delay admission (take a drop / prep another year) to aim for better percentile, is LIBA a safe backup?

I think 78+ percentile should comfortably fetch a LIBA shortlist, provided GDPI goes well.

Which CAT range are you in & planning to apply to LIBA?

  • 70–75 percentile (hoping for a call)
  • 75–80 percentile (confident shot)
  • 80–85 percentile (backup choice)
  • Above 90 (safe convert)
