I contacted the local bank branches for an education loan and they said they are not confident they will be able to process it before the lockdown is lifted. Now under the circumstances can we expect a relaxation of the final installment schedule (which is close to 9L including the hostel) as it seems highly unlikely we will be sanctioned the loan before the cutoff date of 10th june? People like me who has very less liquidity on hand will face the same problem. The alternate is to apply for private sector loans but at the cost of high interest rate and unfavourable terms.
Please take these into consideration as these are extraodinary times. Any intimation regarding this will be highly appreciated.

Will the institute revise the fees notification for bank loans?
for instance Tapmi has retracted the fee hike.
Is something similar applicable to KJ as well because of the UGC notification?
Kindly confirm because we have to apply for loan and the bank is asking for final documents.
ADcom please do reply to the queries raised by the students here regarding fees extension and fees hike. Just seeing and ignoring the messages aint gonna work .

Kj has already postponed the date once and now again ...it is really frustrating since many students who have limited choices of good colleges have an eye on this college ....it becomes very confusing for students in such delays to decide upon the colleges that they want to lock their seats in .....i strongly feel that such delays shouldn't happen since the first installment isn't much and more time bounded these list would be declaired , more smooth the waitlist movement would be !
To all those ranting about delays don't forget Merit list 1B was released thinking about all of us. Wait for things to happen. If the dates are extended here then the other colleges will also extend the dates. Atleast these people have replied and are doing something.

Just Checked Somaiya My Account Portal, the deadline to pay 50k has been extended to 21st May.
Second wait list will be out on May 10th itself right ?? Please dont tell it's again postponed

Clearly the college is associated with AICTE. So, as per the guidelines the fee structure should have been revised and mentioned in the latest mail. If adcom could explain why the college is choosing and following the guidelines as per their benefit?
Hi, I have come across the circular regarding the extension of payment deadlines. Many have the dates updated in their account dashboard as well. But my account dashboard is still showing 8th May as the last date. I'm confused.
Hello all, since the payment deadlines have been extended let us do something to pass time. This is for all the students who have converted and/or are wait listed for any program. What you need to do? If you don't mind, kindly mention the other colleges (better than K J Somaiya) that you have applied to and/or are waiting for their results/wait list movement. Also, kindly mention what programs are you wait listed for(here) and your wait list number. If you have converted(here) , kindly mention the program that you have converted and if you are planning to join it or waiting for better options. This will help us all (specially the ones who've been waiting for the second list to understand the movement). P. S. - - (Here) refers to K J Somaiya.
Is the fee for this academic year gonna change in KJ? As the government has given guidelines to not increase fee for this year. Will we be provided with a new fee structure?
