Dear adcom, how far is it safe to travel to kanpur with rapid increase in COVID -19 cases... Are there any chances of interview being postponed??
Dear Adcom @Avinashk7 Due to the recent outbreak of corona virus is it safe to travel for the aspirants to Kanpur?? As you know almost 10 confirmed cases of corona virus has been detected so far in U.P. Cant you people, by talking to the higher authorities, shift the interview schedule by some time, by keeping safety of the aspirants as the first priority???

Come on IIT Kanpur, this is not fair, my slot was on 15 March 1 pm slot, I had already got into train, and had done all the bookings of staying in Hotel, even had a returned Ticket booked, now suddenly you guys send message that the interview is postponed, I live far away from Kanpur, had to board train atleast 2 days before actual interview date, you should have atleast send the mail 5 days before keeping in mind that students travel from far away states than UP. It is not that Corona Virus has suddenly emerged within 2 days, suddenly floating mail 2 days before have had a adverse effect in terms of loss of money of many candidates who cancelled their tickets. IIT Kanpur, Plz do understand our problems and take respective decisions which will not further complicate the process.

I would sincerely request you to share the updated dates immeadiately as all airlines are allowing a free date change but not cancellation. This will prevent us from losing lots of hard earned money.
