I know this post can be controversial but can't help it!

The poor girl asked a query about the summer placements but the senior was quick to remind her that she is not the director of the institute. Another friend Mr Mukul was trying to help out his batchmate with her query but another senior warned him that nobody wants to hear his opinion. Seriously!? Is this the culture in a premier BSchool. Come on! This is not a damn undergrad school where you are senior by both age and experience. You may well be a fresher out of college ( in this case one of them is) while your junior may be way older than you and with a few years of work ex. There should be an atmosphere of open interactions and mutual respect instead of being bossy and showing attitude.

P.S.

Using this anonymous platform because they may well f**k up my IIM life if I reveal my identity. And please don't feel that I am spoiling the name of the bschool because I feel it is people like these who are the real spoilers and I can't help but speak against it.

We are using this post to clarify our stand as IIM K batch of 2020-22 regarding the recent screenshots from the official MS Teams channel formed by IIM K's student council. There are a few urgent points we want the seniors to take note of:- 1) The person pretending to be Oindrila IIM K is an imposter. Her identity has been misused without her permission to post misleading content on PG. 2) There are some students in the MS Teams app who have since moved on to other B-Schools, but continue to be part of the official group. We request you to initiate a verification process using information from the Admissions Office, if possible. They are taking screenshots of chats and circulating it to other B-Schools. 3) The screenshots have been circulating on social media for a while now and the batch has been getting messages from students of other B-Schools, who are using these screenshots to defame the college. 4) We condemn any posts that wage war under the garb of anonymity. The batch of 2020-22 is capable of raising issues directly with the seniors and we do not require anonymous accounts ranting on social media and pretending to be our saviours.

Asking in a neutral group. I know MDI is a better brand today. But it's hard to give up an IIM offer. Which do you think is better, considering the future as well ?

 Also another factor to consider: MDI course will most likely be online for an year. Shillong has announced classes on campus currently because its in green zone.

What movement can we expect for general seats, is there any chace for students that are waitlisted in general at 50+? Please I need some insight as I am very confused whether to continue my job or prepare this year for cat again?

Does it make sense to do mba with online classes, i mean its more about peer to peer learning, should I drop out this year because we are not even sure even in second year we will get to go to college with this pandemic. Can someone please comment
