What is wrong ? Hadn’t received any mail nor anyone answering to calls. Anyone please clarify

I now have a bone to pick with the ad com because first you all pushed the date for offer letters. Then today, the emails were being sent like they were snail mail and now suddenly there’s been an outburst of emails with some people either getting “waitlisted” and no mention of waitlist numbers, way to go with the whole false hope thing; or they’re being told that their application is “on hold”. While A LOT of applicants haven’t recieved any emails. The channels of communication are so opaque and the whole process has been extremely anxiety inducing.
I’m not really sure if this is a “management” institute anymore.
I know you all are also students, with no major powers in your own hands and obviously it’s the administration that’s at the helm, but please the least you could do is BE HONEST. It’ll hurt the feelings of some, knowing their true positive but atleast no one will sit here and wait around with false hopes.

Did your mail also say
“We are pleased to inform you that you have been placed on the Wait List for admission to the below two-year full-time programme(s) of our Institute, with a reasonably good chance of securing admission to the programme(s)”?
