Dr. V. Ravi Anshuman is a Professor in Finance and Accounting at the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. His research interests cover the areas of Market Microstructure, Capital Markets, and Corporate Financial Management Issues in Emerging Markets. His publications have appeared in the Review of Financial Studies, Journal of Financial Economics, Journal of Financial Markets, etc. He has co-authored a book titled Valuation – Analyzing Global Investment Opportunities. In addition to experience in academia, he has consulted with various blue-chip companies. He is a member of the Certification Formulation and Testing Committee (CFTC) and Futures & Options (F&O) Executive Committee of the National Stock Exchange (NSE).

Mr. Ardeshir Dastur, Senior Director Talent Acquisition at Cognizant, spoke eloquently and elaborated on the inside world of the Talent Acquisition ecosystem at Cognizant. Based in Chennai & managing all the business units across the country, he emphasized on the various challenges faced by the company as well as the candidates. Mr. Dastur explained how the paradigm shift due to the pandemic has changed the ecosystem and how the industry is adapting to the changes, keeping in mind that it implements the learning from the pandemic even after normal life resumes, putting candidates experience at high priority by making them comfortable.

Mr. Abhisek Majumdar, the Director Talent Management at Capgemini, engrossed the audience with an engaging, interactive session on the Idea of Leadership. He asserted the importance of establishing a brand of trust, which is inclusive of individuals' character and competence, and how, in the current times, everyone assumes the position of leadership depending on the situation. He also talked about the skills and character qualities necessary in the 21st Century students and put forward his points quite elegantly by providing examples ranging across daily life, great leaders such as APJ Abdul Kalam, and war stories.

Vandana Puri, Associate Director at SHRM India, imparted a crisp knowledge filled session on Human Resource Management and interacted with the audience. She spoke on the various responsibilities of workforce advisors and amidst the pandemic and rise of Artificial Intelligence, focused on the change of roles and the scope of growth in the HR world. She pressed on the importance and need for leadership roles for youngsters, and motivated the students to upgrade their skillsets by taking up Global HR certifications and embrace the technology and analytics coming up in this dynamic era.
