Dr. Subir Bikas Mitra has an overall experience of over 36 years and was recently working as the Executive Director (Law & HR), heading the Legal and HR Department of GAIL (India) Limited, a Maharatna Public Sector Undertaking under the administrative control of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas. He is known for pioneering in the formulation of several policies in the field of HR, which are now being followed by the industry for a system-driven approach in the resolution of various complex and commercial issues.
DoMS, IIT Roorkee had the pleasure to virtually host Mr. Alok Kohli, the Business Director of DSM India, who spoke to our young and eager minds about the role of 'Purpose' an individual holds in a business.
Mr. Alok Kohli conversed very candidly on his experiences of his corporate life and emphasised on the alignment of one's resolution and conviction with that of the company. He spoke about the importance of a healthy and balanced diet in an individual and related the same with his organisation. Mr. Kohli also shared the incident of uniting the nation of Nepal during the devastating earthquakes, during his time as Country Head at Coca-Cola.

Dr. Manas Mandal has immense experience in the domain of psychology and was the President of the National Academy of Psychology in 2011 and is currently a member. With over 110 research publications in international and Indian Journals, he has also authored 12 books. He worked as a Distinguished Scientist & Director General and as a Chief Controller (Research & Development) at Life Sciences, DRDO. He is a recipient of multiple awards with 4 given away by the Hon. Prime Minister of India.
