There are only 18 Seats for All India at JB. Among that, for general, it is only 9.

So anything more than 50 would have a less chance of making it to JBIMS.

So, suggest you to take Feb CMAT again.. !!

My cmat rank is 727 . I am from mumbai what are my chances of getting through top 4 colleges of mumbai.

buddy.... r u sure???? AFAIK der is no reservation in AIR seats... but only catch is maharastra students r also eligible for these seats .... till last year d process was like mh students are eligible to air seats only thru cat,cmat... and mh seats thru cet... but outsiders can take any of the three cat,cmat,cet for these 18 seats... dis year nobody knows hw it would be till dte come out with its notification... reservation is der only for mh quota seats but nt for AIR seats. @PatrickDsouza plz correct me if i'm wrong....

Seats of 18 for All India were listed as :

9 --> Open
9 --> All India

Depends on what is decent for you.

You don't stand any chance for the Top 8/10 B-Schools of Maharashtra. You might have chances for institutes after those Top 8/10.

You stand good chances for XISS, IMT-Nagpur.

For GIM also, it looks a bit difficult.

Suggest you to apply though to GIM if you can improve your Score by 15/20 marks in the Feb CMAT.

Do I stand a chance of getting a GD/PI call from GIM, if I apply via Sept CMAT ?

congrats to all within AIR 500. Maharashtra colleges can be predicted only after feb cmat. specially for the oms people. please attempt feb cmat even if you think you have done great in this one. feel free to shoot any further queries regarding maharashtra colleges.

Breakup OMS seats.. ALL SEATS ARE OPEN CATEGORY
for students outside maharashtra.. however mumbai students can also apply thro the OMS seats...

Everyone in 50 ranks have good chance to convert JBIMS thro OMS seats..

Very good chance to convert SIES and Dalmia MMS... but also KJ SOM and WELI thro PGDM not MMS.... as your percentile is around 98%ile...

Hope you get better in feb CMAT... please post ur detailed marks so tht can guide u for improvement..

Weli like other PG courses like to call more people for GDPI,,,
95%ILE without workex and upto 82%ile with workex can expect a call..

Can't be said for sure. It's a borderline Rank.

Last time the cut off rank was 3600.

But this time, the applicants would def rise. Also take Feb CMAT into account.

I would suggest you to apply & better your Score in Feb CMAT. GIM would be considering the Best of the 2 Scores. All the Best.. :)

Is it worth applying for GIM with this rank? I read that the cut-off last year for call was 198, however, what was the last cut-off for a Final convert?

You have a fair chance... you need to improve on that score in the Feb CMAT.
Last year there was only a 2 week window for applications, so the number of students applying was less. This year, we expect more applications and hence the cut-off would be higher. Any rank
