heyy friends,,
my 10th class % is 82 ,12 th class % is 77,my btech(cse) % upto now is 65,cat 12-80 percentile,nmat-200,mat(feb)-100 percentile,,
i have given gd pi of glim and bimtech(cat),also have a call from alliance....i have no job...
so should i go for these colleges if selected or try for cat 13..i am really confused please help me,,,pls reply asap

Attempt these colleges only if you have no other option . Looking at your scores, you can definitely improve - IMO. Attempt CAT'13 for sure
@bhaduriarchit actually my this sem is free as 6 month training and i am jobless upto now....so it makes a burden sometime in my mind wat to do but sometimes i dream of cat 13,,,so that is real confusion

oh! didnt see the 6th sem taining anywhere. My bad. You ll definitely get some job by the time you graduate and till then study for CAT. :)

Still you have till May/June for the training. Try off campus stuff. IMO - avoid compromising on colleges etc.time & money permitting.. If you can pull in another year for cat 13, it would be good.

Puys tell me one thing... In cat we need to enter our xth percentage..
I had given 6 subjects in my xth.. The additional subject being hindi.... I had french and english as my languages ..hindi i gave so that one can apply for govt services.. my percentage not consoiering hindi is 83. bt if i include hindi.. It is around 75...cz i jst passed hin hindi and that was my aim since i din hv hindi in 9th or 10th.. Bt gave d exam fr govt services latr..
This will really affect my chances... if i include hindi marks..
And i hv read that in cbse 2 languages are considered??
ne clarity on dis??
@bhaduriarchit i know lots f time.. Bt my prob is my marks in hindi are just 50...cz it given for the sake of government job eligibilty... With hindi there is a considerable drop in my percentage... And that will affect my chances greatly..

I got your point. Quote % of 5 main subjects. 6th subject would carry a -pass only criteria in CBSE

For computing percentages of marks obtained in SSC or equivalent and HSC or equivalent examination, the aggregate marks of all subjects that appear in the mark sheet/grade sheet would be considered....
so all 6 will be considered ..... hpe it helps... :)
