Confusion......
Situation is like this...
Screwed up entrance xams of 2012-13 season....with only a couple of converts from Tier-2 B schools...i am unsure of wehter to join there or not...
The dilemma is even more severe since my current company (read brand), profile and pay is so high for a Pre-MBA job that a tier-2 B school wont make much of a value addition.
My profile-
X-92%,XII-89%, Grad-5.9 CGPA ( Thanks to a confusing grade system that was followed in my colg)
Work ex- 32 months and counting ( Core electrical manufcturing co.)
Should i give another shot next year i.e. CAT'13 ??
Will my work ex- (which ll become about 44 months till the time i go to a top B school) be a hindrance in getting a good placement ??
P.S. i am planning to give GMAT s well in cse i do not opt for the converts i have with me this year.

@fazer55 bro i am a TIME student and the TIME office ppl told me an ex-TIMEr can get a discount of 30% provided u have to show them ur TIME id card...
@acecat13 that nyce... i am a ex-time student... could u plzzz tell me hpw much will it cost for cat mock test for me??? jst an idea.....
@gaurav21 go for this yr then.... afaik more than 3 yrs exp will cause a prblm to get into sm gd clgs... plzzz dnt mind... i hv shared what i knw...

Really good results in X and XII . What type of grading system was used by your college? Name of the institute?

Best thing would be go through class 10th books of NCERT and for more explanation check out the RD Sharma and all.
i m also from one of those students who dream for IIMs and other top b schools(obviously xlri). I have joined a coch also and will be giving cat,xat,snap,nmat,irmat & micat 2013. but thr is a tragedy in my life...
i m 19 (app),stdnt of goel institute of tec n mgmt(afilited to LU) . i got 75% in 10th and "unfortunately 58.4%" in 12th(pcm). besides i m good at english. i have good comm. skills. Recently i won the 1st prize for business plan comp as well as same for the debate comp.I have also won 1st prize in admad show.i have got 69% in 1st sem and 70.16% in 2nd sem, 67.1 in 3rd sem. Moreover i have earned cerificates of coordinator for diffrent events. i'll also go for intern at ITC for nearly 2 mnths.
will my % of klas 12th affect for admission to top b skools .
m i eligible for iim's and xlri(to be shortlisted for gd/pi) as well even if i get 99+ %ile in cat/xat??????????
and pls guide me regarding ximb also.
can anyone suggest me how to prepare for cat ? and materials?

Similar profile here , 10th - 77.4% and 12th 58.6% . Graduation will hopefully end with about 78-80% 😃
