@sutirtha90 you got a point ...
@dannyarch provided you get a good percentile you would stand a good chance of getting through... nothing can harm your chances. Its only about what good something can do to your chances.
And yeah this is counted as workex.

Preparing for CAT 2013? You will find this useful http://www.pagalguy.com/news/video-interview-with-cat-2012-topper-jaskaran-singh-sachdeva-a-29484

@Niveditya
Thanks for your response :)
Time starts taking Aimcats from the end of May. So, you mean to say that I should be done with at least 1/2 of the basic materials by end of may. Is it so?
@arijittheone ....the more you have completed the better, but that doesnt mean that if u have completed less than 1/2 you sudnt take the test.....actually takin the tests give u a better idea about how to prepare.

Also when preparin don't concentrate on onely one field, say Quants. Keep rotating between fields like, say u do DI in the morning, Quants in the evening and do a little verbal before you go to bed. This helps you give equal emphasis on each field and removes monotonous prep.

Any industry exposure will be counted as experience and will boost your chances of converting a call. The only thing they expect is you to know what exactly you are doin in your job which I believe would not be a tough task :)

@jagajaya Hello, IIMs in general look a lot into Acads, and hence I am not so sure about your chances. However, there are other really good b schools that solely concentrate on CAT scores, some of which are equally good or even better. So aim at scorin high in CAT and try to make the best of the options u have

Being a Tester at CTS is indeed work-ex. It gives you corporate exposure and hence will be a bonus in your CV. The technicalities of ur work hardly matter.

bench will be added as work ex.....and this is the time when you should focus more on CAT prep...you never know when you will get a project and then you cant concentrate on CAT prep....and next year if you face any interview you will be asked about the projects in which you were involved.....so try to focus on prep as of now....and concentrate on projects when it will come for you
@TONYMBA -wat all extracurriculars can I do to boost my profile which can later help in the interviews??
