After much speculations about the timing of the results, Current CAT convenor Prof. Rohit Kapoor of IIM-Indore has confirmed the time that is flashing on the website from past 2 days. He confirmed that NIC,a government agency, will be hosting the results which will come out anytime after 9 am,but certainly not before that. He said that this time there are record number of servers dedicated for the results but at the same time he did not deny the glitches that could come. He has advised the candidates to accept the result as he termed "best-possible result" after that repeated question and wrong question fiasco. He said he and his team took utmost care in dealing with these and have provided the best possible solution which he is going to make public a day after the results. He went on to say that in total approx. 25000 calls for the IIMS would be made and as many students get multiple calls, there will be 15,000 distinct candidates who will have atleast one IIM call. So, that means anything above 94 percentile and you shouldn't lose hope. Though he refused to talk on normalization but he said that it is there for the benefit of all the candidates.
So, brace yourselves up as less than 22 hours are remaining.

I think for many students hopeful days are getting over by tommorow.As the case like all the past years many like me are hoping against the hope,but the reality is 99 percent students find results day to be more horrible than hopeful.

The criteria at IIM Lucknow for the Class of 2016 largely remains the same as last year. There are minor tweaks but that will have no real impact in the overall analysis. - IIM Lucknow was the first IIM to give extra marks to women and to non-engineers in the shortlisting process itself.
