I totally screwed up CAT, but I don't know why there is still a glimmer of hope in my heart that I'll get an IIM call. I don't know from where this irrational exuberance stems, but still, there's hope that hasn't faded away yet. It's not outright complacency, but when everyone's saying that CAT went bad; that too in a relative marking exam, making it to the 99p list doesn't seem to be a far-fetched dream after all.

UPTO 10th standard (Regional Medium (Telugu) ) = 63 %
11 & 12 th = 89 %
Engineering (jntu hyd ) = 71 %
Drawbacks which I feel most is poor in English ( Not even par to primary school standards)
I want to start CAT & GMAT prepartion . Really do not know from where & how to start preparation . Felt first step itself confused " how to start preparation " .
Note :- I cant attend any coaching . Working out side of India .
Need suggestions . It will be a great help .

This goes out to those who have appeared for a b-school GD-PI round.
Many a time a couple of people go on speaking and shouting without listening to what others have to say, is it a good idea to keep shut when several attempts to shout and enter the GD have failed??
Does the panel consider it good or bad when your voice cannot be heard over the shouting.??

Hi all. I took CAT this year and I am confident of getting a score of 90-95 percentile and I have applied to a few B-schools accordingly. I completed my graduation in June- 2013.
Assuming that I get a call from any B-school that I applied, how do I face the dreaded interview question: "How do you justify the gap of 6 months? What have been doing for so long? "

section 2 (VALR) = 12 correct out of 18 Que attempts

A convention is held where all the big logicians are summoned. The master places a band on everyone's forehead. Now all of them can see others' bands but can't see his own. Then they are told that there are different colors of bands. All the logicians sit in circle and they are further explained that a bell will ring at regular intervals. The moment when a logician knew the color of band on his forehead, he will leave at the next bell. If anyone leaves at the wrong bell, he will be disqualified.
The master assures the logicians that the puzzle will not be impossible for anyone of them. How will the logicians manage ?
Can anyone advice me of any MBA colleges which have admissions through CAT but don't have attendance as a mandatory requirement ? ( Even list of IIM and Non-IIM colleges falling under similar criteria would be really helpful)
Were we supposed to fill up any sort of preferred slot timing after filling up preferred exam date in CMAT form ? I know its not the right place, but it needs to be satiated asap..
