Only few companies ask for through out 60%. It's not must.
@souv its tough in case of placements.............coz most of the companies seek 1st division holders through out career...............and in case of b-school admission...the cut off varies......and 50% is the generalized cutoff
@@sutirtha90 after mba also required 60% in academic result for eligible in campus placement?there must be some company which does not check academic result?
@missionCAT13 thank u sir..my class 10 and 12 results -57% in both..but in graduation 71%..which top mba college allow this poor academic result..i want to know sir..thanking u

XLRI,FMS,MDI,NITIE,XLRI,IIFT,JBIMS,TISS,NMIMS,SIBM,SCMHRD,MICA,IRMA are some top colleges that give less weightage to academics, you may compensate your low academics with higher scores in written. ATB
I guess every new IIM asks for >60% in 12th except IIM Ranchi. Can't say about older IIMs, But to be honest, This academic record is too low for Older IIMs as well as newer Also. And IIT bombay and IIT Kanpur ask for 6.5 CGPA/60% In grad, IIT Delhi asks for 6.75 CGPA. IIT madras,IIT Roorkee,IIT Kharagpur ask for First class In Engineering. :) hope this might help you .
@missionCAT13 sir as u mention.iit delhi, madras, roorkee, kharagpur only check engg result?those not check academic result?i am a sc catagory student.so there is any consideration in iim? thanking u sir
@dreamboats i'm opting for FRENCH.............though mandarin n spanish are mostly spoken after english.........but in case of business french has an upper-hand.......french spanish italian are inter-related as many words are common... mandarin is the craze as of now............but difficult and takes a lot of time tell me where are you from then i might help or else make it from this link http://www.afindia.org/

😐 you should have mentioned about your category earlier. anyway If you belong to SC then get good score in Written, you are eligible for All most all colleges including newer IIMs. :-)

@missionCAT13 no i also check it..being sc student also need above 60% in academic result..only iim raipur and kashipur allow this kind of poor academic result..
