How to improve basics in Quant and Verbal ?
a no leaves remainder of 3 when divided by m and leaves a remainder of 2 when divided by 2 then when it will leave remainder 6 , guyz pls tell me how 2 solve dis prblm
Hi Everyone, I will be taking CAT 2013. Have started giving mocks recently, but my number of attempts and hence scores are low..especially in Quant (Sec-I)..I hardly get time to solve any DI Set. VA is fine but the problem reappears with LR questions. How can i maximize my score? and since the exam is very close..how should I prepare for LR and DI now ( I feel difficulty in solving LR questions, moreover when the test is time bound..it seems impossible to me to solve LR questions )
What should I do? 😞
Also, I am working from past two years, and spend many hours of the day there..I wish to utilize office hours as well to work on my weakness but not able to understand what to start with? I end up reading about the strategies and everything which will not work unless I practice. How can I prepare myself for LRDI and Quant? Thanks.
How much to score in cat verbal section for percentile btwn (85 to 90) .??????
I'm not able to score high in aimcats plus i lack the consistency.Now,as only two months are left i need suggestions from you guys.Should i go for the sectional tests or solve more mock papers and analyse them.What should be my approach from here?I really need help in this regard. plz help.

Hi Puys,Pls help..in my AIMCATS i am maintaining around 90% accuracy in Section I(QA) but Section II(VA) is screwing me up badly...as no more than a month is left for the exam..pls help me on how can i improve my score in VA...
@dinnusweety It would be foolish for me to ask you to cool down, because it happens with everyone. Pre-exam nervousness everyone goes through. Nothing new. But dont forget that you are not the only one going through it. Almost everyone out there is as tense as you are. Some show it, some dont.
But people who panic pay the price. One of the ways you can bring down this nervousness is through working harder. The harder you work, better percentile you will get in the mocks and better you will feel and more confident you will be. It really helps.
And of course you should go ahead with the preparation. Serious fighters dont leave the field in between. Take it till the end.

I am enrolled in a classroom program of time from last year for cat 2013. The online material (its great btw) they provide is limited till december. Does anyone have any idea how can i use it after december? Any legitimate/illegitimate suggestion is wecome 😃😁

I too started my prep in starting of September and its not necessary to join any coaching institute or test series now. You just need to make strategy about your strength. I will tell you what i did as DI and LR almost comprises of 18 questions in total I shifted my focus more on those and ya LR will be time consuming initially but as you will practice more questions you will be able to solve it fast. I downloaded TIME's AIMCATs from my friend's ID and had solved them twice before my CAT and whatever question i dint get i use to refer the solution or check online for better explanation.
As i was also working i utilized the free time there too. Those who are working and have time in office Go to indiabix.com (as u cant take books in office and study) and there you can get many question on different topics with shortcuts. Hope it helps!! ATB!!

By mistake i wrote my name in a wrong way and now when i contact the customer care they are assuring me tht they will allow me to sit at the test centre but they are not ready to send me the confirmation mail for the same and they are not ready to send the new admit card with correct name and even my admit card has the wrong name.(Mistake is there only fr 1 letter).
