Query : Is MDI gurgaon gonna take Cmat scores this year? #Cmat approved institutions list shows MDI's name whereas the notification given out by MDI in newspaper shows it gonna take CAT & GMAT scores.

@EyetoEye Well you will have to convince the panel first of all. But later on also during your placements and all this question will keep coming up as to why did you drop and all. i would suggest do some part time stuff or join a course ( some foreign language course or something), do something concrete if possible apart from preparing for CAT. But yes if you have decided to drop, just stick to the decision and try to justify it in best possible way. All the best.

@jaydevk Hi Jaydev. You could fill forms like SNAP(Colleges: SIBM P, SCMHRD), XAT(XLRI, XIM B), NMAT(Narsi Monjee) in addition to CAT. All these colleges under different qualifying exams are good in their own way.
i have already applied for cat,iift and nmat. I also plan to appear in xat,snap,icfai,cmat,mat and tiss. however i am confused regarding which colleges to apply separately. on one hand there r the so called top colleges which everyone applies to..but i also want to apply to some average colleges as a backup plan. can u please suggest me wat to do..

@fms_freak Since you have an IT experience and that too of 9 months, you will be considered as a fresher only. Also whatever little experience you have it is non-Finance.
But the best part is your work ex is not that much, so a finance company coming for placements will take you as a fresher only and there might be less trouble in getting shortlisted.
And yes if you have left your job then during interviews you will have to justify your decision, All the best!!!
