I am a 2011 pass-out student with no experience.Can any one tell me which b-school should i target? What kind of difficulty can i face ?? How could i get rid of these difficulty??Please someone help me out.
@mimansak Hey Manoj, honestly speaking there will be problems and there will be tough questions asked in the interviews as to what were you up to these 2 years. You will have to come up with some genuine reasons to convince the panel.
But you can really give it your all this year and get into a good B School. If you have joined some test series then analyze your papers and take note of your overall percentile. Do it over a period of time and see in which percentile bracket you belong to. And then check what all B Schools lie in that bracket and then fill those forms. This is the closest you can get i guess in terms of the kind of B Schools you want to target.

I am currently pursuing btech(5th sem, cse) from tezpur university. I'm highly confused on whether to prepare for CAT or go for jobs. I want to pursue MBA in the future. Is it better to have a work experience before opting for an MBA course or directly joining an institute for MBA ?
Also, if job, supposedly, is your option , then instead of preparing for CAT, shall I go for GATE, coz it might help me up in landing a job in one of the PSUs. Moreover, it'd be better to prepare while working in a public sector company (due to lesser workload).
Kindly enlighten me.
