I worked in a company for 21 months. Then I left it and started preparing for CAT. However, I had a 3 year bond in the company. So, I didn't resign else I had to pay around 2 lakhs.Through a contact in the HR, I arranged for a fake relieving letter. I have my original joining letter and salary slips of all the months. My question is::
Do IIMs verify with the company about the work ex?? Can I show the relieving letter I arranged ?? Will this cause any problem in the admission process or later??
I know it's unethical but I didn't have the money to pay the bond amount and I seriously wanted to prepare for CAT which was not possible while working.
- Show the actual work ex of 21 months and tell them about bond in the interview
- Show the relieving letter arranged. It wont cause a problem

There is this woman who has been operated twice for cyst and tumors in spinal cord, survived both the surgeries and fought back for life. After her first surgery, she fought back for few years and started to move just as normally as any person would do. But she didn't stopped there. She started participating in all the sports in her school, got interested in bikes, married at 19, gave birth to two daughters and led a normal life. But fate struck again when she was 29. This time with a tumor which when operated would leave her dead or at best handicapped for rest of her life. While she was being operated for her life, her husband was fighting at Kargil. The only word her husband was able to convey her on a satellite phone was "Please live. I will carry you all through out my life in my arms". She survived the operation and her husband survived Kargil. But after her operation her living costs grew exponentially to maintain her disability. Though she became a handicap and wheel chairs replaced her feet, she started a restaurant and soon became a popular restaurant-er in Ahmednagar. Later she realized that she could still swim using her hands. In spite of her disability she started her training. So she started swimming, and then playing and shotputting and throwing javelins, and what not. She became self reliant. She didn't stopped. She started participating in Disabled sports and started winning. And won at least 20 national and international accolades. Last year, this lady who is now 42, was awarded Arjuna Puraskar. Few days back she led a gang of bikers to Ladakh. She herself drove till Ladakh. Her name is Deepa Malik.

I have just finished my Integrated master's in nanotechnology from Amity University which was a 6 years course with a CGPA of 7.1, my 10th and 12th percentages are 73.6% and 74.8% respectively> Besides that during the duration of my course, i have undergone research trainings in IIT Kanpur for 2 terms for 2 months each> I have also worked for my master's thesis from University de Lyon and universite Jean Monnet in France for over 9 months> What chance do i stand to procure a call from various institutions IIM ABCLIT, if i score a good percentile. Would my research thesis be considered as a work experience . It would be really helpful if someone could give me some idea based on my academic qualification so far. Also i would be obliged if someone could suggest me different streams i could opt for in MBA ... I have excellent communication skills...have had a background in electronic MEMS development, along with that i have worked in the field of optics and material science as well..My thesis was on the development of reversible and irreversible nano and micro structuration, something related to optoelectronics. Would an MBA in operations would be good for me ? can i still do an MBA in Marketing and sales. I don't want to pursue finance. Would my resume be good for any company later on if I specialise in HR ? Please suggest some courses in the IIMs with relevance to my background !

Hey Guys, I do not have an excellent academic track record. But have been an average scorer with 79 in 10th and 81 in 12th CBSE + 59.45 in english honours from (IP COllege, DU). Though my clg had been a reputed one and scoring 1st div in literature is tougher which colleges should i apply for MBA? I am a female candidate from non engg background, which all colleges would prefer me over the other thousands? Should i even think about applying for SP Jain? My extra curricular has been juz winning prizes in painting competitions. THANKS!
