Hi ,i am from NC OBC category...however i havent got my certificate as yet for the category and m in the process of getting it.However i want to fill up the cat form on JUly 29...so is it it possible to change my category after scheduling the exam in case i am not able to get my certificate...please help

Hello puys. The registration for CAT is opening on Monday. I wanted to know can I even Register Online like other exams ? Or it has to be done offline.
I worked in a company for 21 months. Then I left it and started preparing for CAT. However, I had a 3 year bond in the company. So, I didn't resign else I had to pay around 2 lakhs.Through a contact in the HR, I arranged for a fake relieving letter. I have my original joining letter and salary slips of all the months. My question is::Do IIMs verify with the company about the work ex?? Can I show the relieving letter I arranged ?? Will this cause any problem in the admission process or later?? I know it's unethical but I didn't have the money to pay the bond amount and I seriously wanted to prepare for CAT which was not possible while working.

The Common Admission Test (CAT) 2013 notification for admission to the 13 Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) is out. More information is available on the CAT Website (www.cat2013.iimidr.ac.in) or in today's national dailies which contain the notification.

The notification for CAT 2013 is out.
For Admissions to 3335 seats across IIM's (115 new seats) The exam is scheduled to be conducted between 16th October to 11th November 2013.
The entrance exam remains the same,comprising of 2 sections, each lasting 1 hour and 10 minutes with 30 questions along with 15 minutes tutorial in the beginning. The details on the same are given below:
1) Section 1 - Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation
2) Section 2 - Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning
Important Dates:
· Registration Process : Details will be available from 5.00 PM on 3/8/2013
· Registration for CAT 2013 : Monday, 5 August 2013 - Thursday, 26 September 2013
· CAT Test Dates : Wednesday,16 October 2013 - Monday,11 November 2013
· Results: Tuesday,14 January 2014
This year vouchers can be purchased online directly from IIM's as well along with the traditional route of Axis Bank Vouchers

Eligibility:
Candidates with a graduation degree with a minimum aggregate of 50% or an equivalent GCPA (45% in case of SC, ST & DA categories), can apply for the CAT entrance
Those in the final year of their graduation may also apply. Selected candidates will be given provisional admission and are required to submit their documents by 30th June 2014

Please note that each IIM shortlists candidates for second stage of selection which may be independent of each other. The processes, academic cut-offs and the weights allocated to the evaluation parameters may vary across IIMs.
CAT Result and Short-listing
Information related to CAT 2013 results will be available from 14th January 2014 on this website. List of shortlisted candidates for the next level of selection will be made available on the individual IIM websites. Each IIM will send interview letters to the candidates it has short-listed. The criteria for short-listing vary from IIM to IIM. We will discuss it in details later on.
