What percentile can fetch me a call from any of the IIM's (the newer ones included)
Can I expect a call from ABC at this profile?

I am a graduate in chemical engineering from the Institute of Chemical Technology (previously known as UDCT). I was placed through campus placements at Tata Consulting Engineers. Initially they had given me a joining of 1st August but a few days back they informed me that my joining has been deferred to 2nd January. I have started my cat preparation since May 2013 and i really want to make it this time. I am confused whether i should continue with my cat prep and wait for my joining in jan or start hunting for a new job now.

Originally got it for myself, based on cat 2012 performance, but decided not to go for simcats( as i wont have time for another test series alongside mba, already have TIMES and CL). The test series is really awesome though >= Times AIMCAT, in terms of quality.

Hello puys. Sorry for a newbie question. But what exactly is Test Series. A friend of mine told me to join Test series from CL. So I assume is it like Series of Tests ? Like Mock Cat ? or include material or so ?

Answer (1 of 6): This will be a general plan irrespective of whether you re in college, dropping to study for CAT or working. Four months is sufficient (though not ample) time to crack CAT. * First off, sign up for a test series. Any test series out of T.I.M.E., Career Launcher, IMS would do.
