I am Civil engineering graduate of 2013. I have got two offers one from Infosys and another from Orient cements which is of civil engg domain. I want to pursue MBA after 2/3 years of work exp. Now I am unable to decide which company to join???
For MBA, does Infosys exp or Civil domain exp give me advantage in MBA admission and for placements after MBA?
On one forum someone said " Infosys will be better to join as there will be chance to learn a lot of things. After 2/3 yers you will have civil engg knowledge and IT knowledge"
i have completed my engineering in 2012. Now i wish to pursue MBA for academic yr 2014. I don't have work experience. i was working for 2-3 months in different IT firms bt didn't find d work environment challenging.
what are my chances of getting into good B-school without any work experience??
seniors please tell me the right strategy to go about with for CAT preparation..not much time is left and i have been consistently scoring low in mocks! Dont have confidence in quant, lack in both speed and accuracy. What should i do? I have CL material and arun sharma for quant.

My profile is as follows Class 10th - 93.5 % (CBSE) Class 12th - 85% (CBSE) B.Tech - 72% Work Ex- No work ex Do I have a chance to get a call from the old IIM's. I understand Ahmedabad, Indore and Shillong are out of reach. What about the rest ? And FMS and XLRI ? Thanks
I am giving CAT third time this year for the first and second attempts I didn't prepare much and attempted got scores of 85 in first and a 75😠 in second, but am planning to go through seriously this year and give it the best shot I can and I need guidance from you people

Hi Guys, I would be appearing for CAT'13. I have a work experience of 18 months in Infosys.I have left my job and have joined family business and I am preparing as well.
First, Is it true that joining your family business hampers yours chances during interviews. Secondaly, will the the time I spend in my business be counted as my work-ex in addition to the 18 months I have in infosys?
