Please tell me if this profile and a good percentile in CAT can land me in one of the IIMs
I'm preparing for CAT 2013
Here's my acads
10th : 79.4%
12th : 81.4%
B.E.(Mechanical) : 73.25%
General category male & work exp. NIL
I wrote the CAT 2012 as well
scored 92.53 %ile OA
Roughly how much should I score in CAT 2013 to ensure myself atleast a couple of IIM calls with these acads
Also is there any chance in IIM Indore with these acads with a good CAT 2013 score(I heard they shortlist on the basis of acads once you are through the cutoff CAT %ile)

but y+z/2 is greater then or equal to yz etc.
LHS>= 8xyz/xyz
"but y+z/2" and LHS>= 8xyz+8 (in solution part i am not able to find how this both steps have come) CAn anyone helpme out,,,,

i am cat 2013 aspirant . i have passed btech in june 2013 and will join tcs from oct 13... but problem is that for 3 months i will be idle ... will these 3 months affect my interview ...i am considering the option to join bpo . will it be a good idea????? .. right knw i am also busy in teaching slum students.

Sachin, These 3 months won't affect your interview. You can very well justify the gap by saying that your joining was in October. You can continue teaching the slum students and along with it keep preparing for CAT2013. All the Best.. :)
