Hi guys,

i have 90+ in 10th and 12th..and 76% in clg. Working at a management consultancy since past 1 and half years. Planning to take CAT this year..have started preparing for it but not getting confidence. What to do?
How do people prepare fr it?

Hi puys, I have a job with joining in end September-start October. But I am planning to give CAT this yr as well. So should I look for another job with earlier joining or what? With such a late joining, it feels like i am practically taking a drop, which i absolutely dont wanna do. Please suggest. Thank You!

hi guys , i am doing final engineering in ece and i am really confused about what to do next....till now i thought doing Ms would be good for me but after doing some surfing i found myself very confused....In my case i am some what good at Aptitude, logical and programmings stuff and some what in technical too when compared to others ...So any suggestion for me?

hello... i m planning to give cat 2013 and this would be my first attempt. I have 81 % in 10th , 90% in 12, 70% in graduation general category along with that m having 1 year experience in consultancy serivce. so i want to ask tht will my experience be considered as professional experience bcz my i worked as cnsultant in education department. and how much i need to score to get into iims and other good bschools.

My profile is 10th-88.8%, 12th-89%. B.tech-76%, Work Ex- 3Yrs ,Will give CAT 2013, How much percentile would I need, to get into IIMs, MDI or SPJ?

Grad: B.Com (64pc);
CA :all exams in 1st attempt;
CFA L1(USA): first year;giving L2 in June2014!!!!!
Work-ex:1+year (including 11.4months in TCS as Functional Tax Consultant)........
Foreign national staying and working in India......

My areas of concern:
a) Which IIMs and others should I target (realistic)? I am looking at IIM ABCL and FMS
b) I am not confident about the Quants (mental calculations is somewhat slow;though working on it at coaching class Endeavor).......... How should I proceed ?
c) I am thinking about applying for FPM as well.

Hey all...

I'm going to appear for CAT-13 . I want to join AIMCAT series..but have doubt..since I'm a repeater , I have all CAT-12 T.I.M.E material with me, so what should I do ? Should I go for only AIMCATs-13 or should I go for correspondence course by T.I.M.E ? In correspondence course , they provide books+ AIMCATs , but no coaching...is material different from previous year ? or there is a huge difference ?

hello puys..m 2013 passout and ll be joining my job in a weeks time...last year took CAT without any serious preparations and managed to score 78 odd marks in percentile...this year have a serious idea of cracking CAT..all i have is now materials i got from T.I.M.E last year( i din attend the classes though)...so wat should i do now???take the test series?? and how to go about verbal and quant?suggest me some books ( will be helpful if u can tel me whr to download them or get them) and preparation methodologies....banking a lot on ur guidance puys....thanks a lot !!!

Hello guys,

I have just finished my Integrated master's in nanotechnology from Amity University which was a 6 years course with a CGPA of 7.1, my 10th and 12th percentages are 73.6% and 74.8% respectively> Besides that during the duration of my course, i have undergone research trainings in IIT Kanpur for 2 terms for 2 months each> I have also worked for my master's thesis from University de Lyon and universite Jean Monnet in France for over 9 months> What chance do i stand to procure a call from various institutions IIM ABCLIT, if i score a good percentile. Would my research thesis be considered as a work experience . It would be really helpful if someone could give me some idea based on my academic qualification so far.

Is teaching experience counted in cat ?

I teach Spanish.... and do they also take into account distance learning courses (only post graduation , graduation was regular) ?

Yes.. 😃 Any Full Time paid WE after graduation is counted.
