I am trying to find some good resources to improve RC and jumbled sentences for CAT. People have recommended many books but which is the most useful one since its not possible to read from all of them. Narrowing down to a a few would be a better strategy.
Hi Guys, I am analyzing the possibility of getting into iims and like institutes. I have 83 in 10th CBSE, 67 in 12th CBSE and 75 in BE VTU, Karnataka. Is there a chance that i may get calls from premier institutes if I get a good CAT score? And what should the minimum percentile be? Please suggest

I am cat13 aspirant and have joined T.I.M.E. Now my question is, what should be the current status of preperation if one wants to get into the reputed institute? I mean by this time how much should be done in quant, DI-LR and VA?
Cat 2012 was a disaster . Got only 90 percentile. Want to start prep for Cat 2013 but the problem is that i am located in a site job ( Civil Engineer ) . Its from morning 8:30 to night 8:30 . Currently i planned for 4 hrs study . ( 1hr novel @night , 1hr quant , 1 hr Verbal , 1 hr Word Usage ). Could you pls suggest me further modifications in my plan to achieve success in next year ?
puys have a doubt... i have 88% in 10th 89% in 12th and 76% in grad. f i'. cracking CAT cud i get in to any of the IIMs A B C L ? please help me in a great confusion after seeing the profile of students that IIMA hire. all of it was of guys from IITs. i wanna know whether i could get in to IIM A with this percentage. any one please help me

CAT 2013 Aspirant here. Just joined PG, have been following the forums since 3-4 months.
10th-94%, 12th-83.4%, Grad-8.14CGPA. Currently working at Mahindra & Mahindra as Executive Assistant to Vice President, Global Head for Product Development. I'm in a managerial profile from the beginning of my career. And I am being mentored by the best people at Mahindra. As of now I have 8 months of Work Ex. And I know times more than my peers due to the Bird's Eye View I get from my position. Can arrange for good recommendations from Sr. General Manager and Vice President. I have started preparing for CAT a month ago and hope that I can crack it this year.

Need some inputs on self study vs coaching.
I have joined IMS jayanager although do not find feasible to attend each classes
i had already done 1 year course from TIME coaching at Bhopal for 2009 CAT.
I think coaching is required only for the doubt clearance when you are writing CAT again.
As i am working, only weekend gives substantial amount of time which we need to utilize.
what do you guys think ? and please share inputs for study plan,books, online websites,test series.

I am from Hyderabad , Planning to give CAT this year( Have given it last time 2009 , dint go that well, 83%ile).
Have 2 years 10 Months of Experience at an IT Company. Have worked as a Lead and now as a core Analyst. Xth - 79% , XII - 83% and BE - 59.43%😠 .
Not planning to invest in any institutes for coaching except for the mocks.
Planning to start off my preparation this day with Quant - Geometry ( Feels like i am a total novice as of now , lets see how will it go 😁, hmm hopefully good for all ).
Will be great if anyone can share the exhaustive basics of Quant material if there is any or will be taking up with the TIME Quant material (2012). Please Suggest
