So I really suck at quants & this is no exaggeration.Incase it doesn't disturbs you guys' preparation on this thread..any pointers as to where should I begin for CAT-2013?I am planning to get hold of school NCERT books to clear my concepts.What say? Also any insights into the other parts related to CAT like time-management,Verbal Ability,LR DI,strategies?
I have taken up Testfunda test series ..... confused between IMS / CL / TIME for test series
@h_500me Cl or TIME both are equally good and more CAT like mocks. Number of tests are more in TIME but costlier

Hey me too !! But i have decided to take up TIME test series for getting a feel of serious competition... Though CL is closer to the actual CAT pattern. IMS is not so great (my personal opinion)..

Hello ... TF Test Series is nice their explanations are good .... Take any CL or TIME both are equally good. I will go with CL + TIME this year 😃 All the Best 
@harrypotter24 Yes! CL's proctored and unproctored tests are very good. ANd the test series is also very long and comprehensive one. TIME's are equally good in quality. Try enrolling in CL. And then obtain TIME's papers from friends or from the internet. If you still have more time, go for IMS. Trust me, there's nothing like to sit and study in CAT. It's all about practice. The more you practice, the better.

I had give TIME home proctored tests, and time ka interface is not good, its no where near to actual CAT and its pretty hard.

and I am planning to buy the TCY Online ka 1yr package of mocks and topic wise tests, some are easy and some are very hard, but very good anaylysis, so should i take or not.
and first trying to complete Word Power Made easy and vedic mathematics, to make My basics very strong.

........After giving CAT it's been a long time we r getting spam mails n few crap calls
......but this type of call I got 4 d 1st time....I don't know the veracity of his statement.....But good colleges like TAP*I n Weli**kar are allowing now admission through donation !!!!!!Crap man!!!!!

I have just joined TIME classes last month, and will be giving the CAT plus other MBA entrance exams this year.
The issue I am facing is that there is too much information available online, and I'm getting really confused on where to study from. Yes, I understand that there is a pile of resources and how much ever I can lay my hands on to prepare is great. But still, I'm yet just very confused right now.
Can someone experienced please help me with the material I should be following to prepare for CAT? Kindly find below the material I have with me right now:

- I see zillion online links on Pagalguy for extra problems, vocabs, gk etc.. Very confusing!

@catnlyiimb Giving 3 different mock tests is a very very poor idea as it means that u are giving approx 9 mocks in a month!!! 😲 U have no idea how fast u are gonna burn out. How will u be able to analyze ur performance or work on ur weakness when u are giving mocks on every 4th day for 5 straight months? 😲 aur sone pe suhaga hoga if u are getting 80%ile in one mock after another. That is just gonna destroy ur confidence as u dont even get the time to recover from a debacle. Honestly i have seen very very few people who have given 3 different mocks (they were the frustrated type,having failed in CAT 2-3 times & super desperate to crack it finally!)...
As far as the preference is concerned, see I gave CL + TIME. CL is undoubtedly the closest to the actual CAT format but the only negative is its student base is smaller than TIME (I always wonder WHY???? :O). TIME on the other hand gives pretty tough questions which are absolutely irrelevant but u cannot ignore that its student base is HUGE (I dont know how they manage to attract soo many students inspite of bad paper setting :O). If U are getting 90%+ in the aimcats, then it clearly shows that u belong to the BIG LEAGUES in the actual CAT. That is something that really boosts ur confidence ki If I can get 90%ile in this super tough exam, CAT should be much easier. Testfunda is another mock that is at par with the actual CAT standard, maybe just a tad tougher, but thats good as it prepares u for those tough slots that u are surely gonna face if u are unlucky enough. But again its student base is pretty small, so u dont get to know ur actual standard. Please don't enroll in TCYonline. Its absolutely sub-par & a bad decision- its analysis maybe good but very few ppl give the exams (regardless of what they say) & the papers are really not a good reflection of the actual CAT.
So, u should select the mocks based on ur preference- if u want to see where u stand with respect to the crowd or if u want to see how good u are at solving CAT level questions, irrespective of how many ppl sit for it or if u are weak in VA & need to work on that (in that case, IMS).

Must be through NRI quota and 26l most probably would be the NRI fee. As far as I know and my dealings in manipal (studying BE there) they are always transparent.
