I see the programme has retail as an specialization. Can you please tell what kind of retail companies have visited the campus in the past for recruitment and what were the profile offered? Also, is there any data available on last batch placement?

Yes we do have a Retail specialization. We had companies like Mahindra Retail, Shopper's Stop, Tata Trent, Spencer's Retail, Univercell, The Mobile Store and more had visited our campus for internships and final placements. Profiles varied in terms of experience (if any) and interest. There were operations, merchandising and logistics profiles offered primarily along with Store Manager roles.

EXPERIENTIAL and IMMERSION WORKSHOP FOR RETAILING SPECIALIZATION: All our Cuemart Aga's Batch of 2013 participants carried out a fabulous and experiential SCM study for Fruits & Vegetables starting at 4 am in the moring till the auction (for all the fruits and vegetables) was carried out. While it is glamourous to see all the products in neatly decorated and deftly planned visual merchandising glasses, the supply chains of each of the fruits and vegetables is always a scary thing at best. Farm to Fork strategy isn't a high-decibel slogan, after all.

GUEST LECTURE ON MUTUAL FUNDS: Mr. Parminder Singh Dillon from HDFC Mutual Funds was at The Academy training our Banking (BFSI) specialization participants on the intricacies of Mutual Funds. It was a real baptization into the world of mutual funds. A career banker that Dillion has been, he painted a larger canvass for Mutual Funds during January 28th 2013 - January 30th 2013.
