IIM Rohtak Interview Experience.
Happens to the worst kind of interview for someone banking on profile or the fact that you have work experience in a field of interest instead of field of your study.
ALL FACT BASED QUESTIONS. Nothing one can't find with a internet connection. NO PERSONALITY QUESTIONS. They don't want to know anything about you.
NO HOBBY QUESTIONS. They don't care if you are top of your game.
If this is any indication, MBA here would be equivalent to youtube lectures. Actually those would much much cheaper.
Seems to me that this is kind of a scam to get those 2000 out of people who want in because of the "IIM" tag.
You can say you should have prepared better in GK, I did prepare and I could answer more than half the questions. But I'm putting this out there as a question I want to ask.
What kind of leaders are you going to make when selecting for people that can remember facts better than anyone? Is personality not a better indicator of what kind of leader they would be rather than rot rememberance of facts?

I spoke about a right balance one is important for generating jobs, helping economy etc. A business needs managers to function smoothly and to grow. Both are equally important at different stages.
