Tapmi or imi guys? A lil bit of insight appreciated!
I have a question guys. I obtained a NC-OBC certificate this year on 8th April, will it be enough for CAT 15. And one more thing For CAT _15 do we need to upload the certificate (Annexure 4), or should we get something different?. I am asking the question this early because It took me nearly 2 months, and many hours waiting outside the registrar's office to get the OBC certificate I possess now. My dad passed away when I was young and my mom is a teacher. I am completely eligible for NC-OBC, yet they delayed it because they probably wanted some bribe. I discovered this thread only now ( I joined PG only today). Kindly help me so that I can do things in advance for CAT 15.

I had given IIMB interview under OBC(Jat). I received a mail today from IIMB titled "IIMB PGP-2015-17 NC-OBC JAT Status" for Admission" with following contents :
As you have applied for PGP-2015-17 under NC-OBC category and you were shortlisted for interview by IIM Bangalore under NC-OBC category, it is inform you that, upon validation and verification of your NC-OBC certificate you belong to JAT community. As per the Honourable Supreme Court of India orders dated March 17, 2015 the GOI notification bearing no. 63, dated March 04, 2014 has been quashed. In the light of the Honourable Supreme Court of India orders, the NC-OBC certificate submitted by you stands invalid as on date, to claim reservation under NC-OBC.
In order to claim reservation under NC-OBC (JAT community), you are requested to obtain a fresh NC-OBC certificate i.e. a certificate dated after March 17, 2015 and submit the same on or before May 06, 2015 to the Admissions Office. If you do not submit a fresh certificate (NC-OBC) before the stipulated date (May 06, 2015) your status would be considered as per the merit order under General category.

I am a JAT from Rajasthan(Sikar). I have Jat reservation under 1999 notification. Even then, I received a mail from IIMB today? Do you think there has been a mistake on their part?

I received a mail today stating that I need to submit a new OBC certificate because I belong to the JAT community. I just want to clarify something because I think there has been a mistake.
I have applied to IIM Bangalore under Resolution number 12011/68/98-BCC dt. 27/10/1999 which gave reservation to Jats of the state of Rajasthan(All districts except Bharatpur and Dholpur).
I am from Sikar district of Rajasthan and am listed as a JAT NC-OBC under the 1999 resolution. The resolution number on the OBC certificate that I have submitted. It is 12011/68/98-BCC and is dated 27/10/1999.
The Honorable Supreme Court quashed the resolution number 20012/129/2009-BC-II dt 04/03/2014 which gave reservation to Jats to Bharatpur and Dholpur districts of Rajasthan among other states of India.
I believe there has been a mistake. The 2014 resolution does not apply to all districts of Rajasthan. Barring the two districts, the Jats of Rajasthan are mentioned under the central list of OBC's as per 1999 resolution.
The Honorable Supreme Court has cancelled the 2004 resolution, but not the 1999 resolution.
The same can be found on the website of National Commission of Backward Castes http://www.ncbc.nic.in/User_Panel/CentralListStateView.aspx (State: Rajasthan, Entry No. 58, 1st resolution).

सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने अपने फैसले में ये बात मानी है कि कई जातियाँ (गुज्जर, अहीर, यादव, सैनी बिश्नोई आदि) जो जाटों से विकसित हैं आरक्षण का लाभ ले रही हैं लेकिन उनको दिया गया गलत आरक्षण जाटों को आरक्षण देने का आधार नहीं माना जायेगा। जाट अन्य आरक्षित जातियों से पिछड़े हैं किन्तु राजनीतिक रूप से संगठित हैं।
जब सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने ये माना है कि जाट पिछड़े हुए हैं तो उन्हें आरक्षण क्यूँ नही?
और यदि राजनीतिक रूप से संगठित होना संवैधानिक अधिकारों से वंचन है तो दूसरी राजनैतिक संगठित जातियों का भी आरक्षण ख़त्म होना चाहिए।
और यदि दूसरी आरक्षित जातियाँ जाटों से विकसित हैं तो पहले उनका आरक्षण ख़त्म करों जाटों को तो एक साल पहले ही मिला था वो ही क्यूँ ख़त्म किया?

for IIM B before the result was announced what was the category it used to show on node 5797 link for NC-OBC.
I filled my form with NC-OBC but there it was showing OB only. Is it the case with me or everyone
