Hello puys,

16th Nov afternoon slot.. Expecting 135-140 Marks

Xth- 87.75%,  

XIIth- 70.80%,       

B.Tech (NIT)- 75.90% (2012)

Work Exp- 13 months in an EPC company in QATAR..

In IIM B selection criteria they mentioned that 10th and 12th Board marks wrt the 90th Percentile of respective board by taking last 2 yrs board results will be adjusted or normalized.. In some of the state boards marks usually come out to be quite low as compared to CBSE /ICSE-ISC.. The State board under which I gave 12th Exam... there were and usually are 10-20 students who get 80+% among 25000+ Candidates... So a 70% in 12th in my Board would be around 99.16 percentile as per last 2 yrs result details..

How much impact that adjustment of Board marks (10% wtg in PI Shortlisting) will have on my score mentioned above ??

Also the common question like others.. How are my chances considering 135-140 marks in CAT and the academic details ??

Guys i had a Doubt

Like for XLRI admissions , we have to fill up XAT firstly and pay for XAT.Then fill up XLRI admission form and Pay separately to XLRI.

Likewise, do we have to do for any other institute ???for example FMS or any IIMs

Hi Guys,

I submitted the NC OBC form for FMS and IIMs together but the guys in the office told me that they will provide only one certificate. Will FMS accept the certificate provided by IIMs?

Sometimes I wonder , am I the only one who feels like  a loser for screwing the exam. Every single day wen I sit in office , I am perfectly sure that ' this is not what I want to do ! And even then I don't have the guts to resign .I feel I am too scared of taking risks , is it because I am very much binderd to my comfort zone ? With cat results on its way , I feel very shattered , demotivated and  I find excuses to hide my capability. Am I dumb ? Am I expecting more than my capability ?  Thought this would be my last attempt , but it won't be .

16th Morning Slot QA 22(18 correct), VA 31(24 correct). Can i expect some old IIM calls?

Filled FMS,MFC,MBE,MHROD MIB LBSIM IMI FORE and ofcourse all IIMs with CAT.

What are the chances of getting calls and converting them ?

Hi, I Attempted 42 questions on 16th(1st slot) and around 35(min) and 40(max) correct. I have OBC. With work ex of 18 months from a top MNC. 

10th - 92,

12th- 74

B.tech - 8.4 cgpa(84%)

also has extra curricular national and state.

what percentile shud I expect and colleges? Please mention and b reply truly...

I have a 2011 dated nc-obc certificate. I recently got a 'non creamy layer ' certificate issued. Will it serve the purpose or should i get a new nc-obc certificate?

The authorities are saying that the central nc-obc certificate is issued just once and you can renew it by getting just a non creamy layer certificate. Someone please help.

do we need separate family income certi with obc caste certi or it has been included in a clause of nc-obc certi itself...
