I was looking for a thread for the Northeastern University's MBA program, but i could not find any. I have been trying to research about the program, but there isn't much info available on the internet.
Any feedback regarding the program is most welcome.
Anyways, I've applied to the program for the Fall, 2011 session. Anyone else in the same boat ??
I have applied for Northeastern R1. Received an admit today. 
It was my safe school and i am glad i converted it.
My profile:
GMAT - 680/4.0
TOEFL - 107
ECs - decent
Acads - average
Good Recommendations
Northeastern features:
-> It has six months of corporate residency which is more than most of the other schools in US (3 months)
-> known for combining outstanding academics with real-world business experience.
-> a very small class size of 72 students
-> Required global learning component
-> Placements % is very good

Hi all,
They ask general questions like why mba, why northeastern, what do u bring to northeastern,one obstacle you faced, team conflict and how you resolved it etc (I remember only these right now)
btw, what are your profiles? I think when it comes to northeastern a lot depends upon your GMAT scores....
A person with a GMAT score > 650 should fancy his/her chances....I know a friend who got an admit with a GMAT score of 640...so keep your hopes high and best of luck!!

I crosschecked, Interview is not a necessity, they make decisions just on the basis of profile
I received interview call. I suppose they conducted almost 200+ interviews bet feb and march. I am not sure what these people are doing. Vickzz can you share your profile.

Honestly, not so bright. With GMAT- 620, TOEFL - 101, 6 yrs workex I got dinged last yr. chances can be somewhat good in first and second round. I applied for last round.

Hi Pritambr,
I would say chances are not that high. They focus a lot on your scores. We have eight students from India here at NU and all of them have scores of well over 600. But that shouldn't stop you from applying. There are people with score of 550 (or even less than that) who got an admit but they are all Americans. You could always try retaking the GMAT and increasing your score. Let me know if you have any more queries.
