WHen are skype GD's scheduled??
Can anyone throw some light on this??

My SOP has stretched upto 600 words although it ends in a page. How negatively is extra long SOP seen as??? 😞

@cricketfreak the cut off for this year is 209 and the score for both of u guys are 214.. last year the cut off was 208 and any people in the range of 208-212 converted the calls for Core MBA....I dont know the profile for both of u...its better to attend the GD/PI and try to convert it with a good GD/PI rather than regretting it later...

N dont consider the calls of the 6 New IIMs as 6 calls, its infact 1 call...if by any chance u have a bad day and u do not perform upto your potential then u will be rejected by all of them...

this is my advice as a friend...rest is upto u guys..ATB !!

@abhinav_insane --- seniors from NM have advised to keep the SOP between 300- 500 words...realistically it should be around 400-475 words...
I am sure there will be few sentences which u would want to change it or any area/aspect which u feel is not adding value to your SOP then remove it.. show it to a couple of seniors, friends or profs and try to cut the loose strings...ATB !!

@manas222 we have to send 2 sets of mentioned docs for FTMBA and HR.
Do we also have to send 2 copies separately of the attached CD/PI form for these 2 courses?

Actually have you attended any of the sessions? I have and since Im not linked anyway to the organisers I would say its a brilliant initiative. No time wasted in pointless call discussion. I think the re-iterated marketing actually helps in this case since its free of cost, has no timewaste or promotion of some otehr unnecessay classes or college and is a genuine MBA prep group.
Also most people donot bother to go and search all previous posts, so this reiteration is giving them an opportunity to polish their skills.

@Sufi0469 going by the previous posts in this thread..i believe there is no need for getting SOP and scorecard attested..

yes, by 2 sets they mean separate set of all docs.(including scorecard, gd/pi call letter, SOP) 1 for FT MBA n 1 for MBA HR.

@ThatGuyNeel it happens sometimes. last year also there were these kind of issues. Please wait for sometime it will come again. if it doesnt contact the authorities
