@nightowl same here, also CMAT dates are 21 to 25 Feb.. my call is on 24th Feb in B'lore, any idea how to reschedule?
Its very strange that they now update the results of the guys who cleared cutoff in one attempt not in another,after telling them..This is the situation at one of the leading MBA colleges in India,very very scary.. :(..congrats to all
@dante14 Normally, students stay in flats near by. Heard the college hostel has limited numbers and if someone joins, they would come out of it after 1st year. Normally, the perception is that staying in hostel in the college would be fun and helps in doing assignments / group activities. Nevertheless, staying outside college has its own advantages. ;)
Hi all, I've received a Call Letter for PGDM.
I had the following queries:-
1. What kind of a Statement of Purpose are we expected to write? What exactly is NMIMS looking for here? any samples?
2. In my call letter it is stated in the Preferences section: PGDM does this mean that I have to prepare only one SOP for the PGDM program? or one for Blore campus and one for Hyd campus?
3. The documents can be sent by courier/speed post correct?
4. Can the SOP be typed or does it have to be hand-written? Also, does it need to be sent in original or do I have to send an attested photocopy?
Please let me know.

1)if you give your preference as MBA banking, I am pretty sure, they will not give you a seat for Core provided you make it to the merit list..
2) MBA core flagship program.. Now 360 seats, MBA banking and MBA cap markets also brilliant programs but focus more towards finance in bank and stocks receptively . I have given you insights as to what these programs mean and now you can give your preferences.. MBA core allows you to choose your specialisation which is not the case with other courses..

3) No of seats shouldn't be the criteria, your interest should be used to give preferences..
