Eligibility :
1) Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a Recognized University with not less than 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) in the aggregate taking into account the marks scored in all subjects of all the University Examination conducted during the entire prescribed period of the degree programme. . Final year students can also apply but admission is subject to
fulfilling the eligibility criteria.
2) CAT Score
Admission is based on the Rank/Score obtained in the CAT and Group Discussion / Interview.

The Department was started in the year 1989-90. Interdisciplinary in orientation, the Department has expertise in three disciplines: Management, Economics, and Professional Communication. Being thoroughly grounded in the Social Sciences, the Department was well poised to take off - a new venture into Management Studies. The Department started Post-Graduate programme, Master of Business Administration (MBA) with 4 different Elective courses of specialization: Human Resource Management, Marketing, Finance, & Operations. Each Student can opt 2 subjects during their course. Over the past 18 years the Department has been active in research and development. The Department also offers PhD. Programmes in Management, Economics and Literature.
