Congratulations!
I am pleased to inform you that you have been selected for admission in our
Master of Business Administration (MBA) Programme for the 2005-2007 batch.
The admission granted is provisional and subject to the following
conditions:
1. You must produce original mark-sheets and documents verifying the
contents of your application at the time of registration.
2. You must produce original mark-sheets verifying that you have passed
the bachelor's degree or equivalent examination as eligible for
Post-Graduate studies with a minimum 50% aggregate marks on the
registration day. However, if you have not received the final mark-sheet
from your university as on the registration day you may produce the same,
normally within a month of the commencement of the first term.
3. You must submit a medical report indicating your medical fitness as
certified by a registered medical practitioner at the time of registration.
4. You must confirm your acceptance by returning the letter of acceptance
along with a DD for Rs.66,000/-latest by April 9, 2005. This amount is
adjusted towards the first-year tuition fee of Rs.1,00,000/-. This is a
non-refundable amount and will be forfeited if you fail to join the
programme. However, we may refund to the maximum of 50 % of the amount in
case you inform us in advance, latest by April 30, 2005.
The payment should be made through a crossed Demand Draft in favour of
"Institute of Management, payable at Ahmedabad" and mail to: The Deputy
Registrar, Institute of Management, Nirma University, Sarkhej-Gandhinagar
Highway, Post: Chandlodia, Ahmedabad 382 481.
You are also required to send your confirmation by e-mail
([email protected]) at your earliest.
5. Students graduated from universities other than Gujarat University are
required to take eligibility certificate from Nirma University of Science
and Technology.
6. The offer of admission to MBA 2005-2007 is only for this year and shall
lapse if you fail to fulfill the conditions given above.
7. Students admitted in the programme are required to stay at the
Institute hostel. Students are required to have a Laptop computer on their
own cost. The Institute will arrange for its purchase or the students can
make their own arrangements. Please let us know your choice along with the
letter of acceptance.
Upon your acceptance and payment of the fee, you will be sent other details
about the registration procedure, rules and regulations, academic calendar,
hostel facilities, arrangements for computer purchase, details of other
payments such as activity fee, alumni fee, internet fee, hostel fee
(First-term), examination fee and registration fee amounting Rs. 24,300/-;
and deposits and advances amounting Rs.24,000/-.

The site was opening about 15 minutes ago, but now it's not. Mabe they are uploading the results.
But I got the confirmation thru email.....actually at first I ignored the email thinking it's from another one of those institutes which keep spamming your inbox, inviting you for GD/PI. But then I read this thread, and went back to check that email, and voila!!

Kinda inronical.....last year....got thru in the first list....but i showed them the 
in my quest of giving CAT another shot and getting into some IIM!! This year no IIM...CAT %ile went down by 4 %ile.....leaving me with nothing. After MDI, TAPMI, FMS..its now Nirma's turn to show me the . What a miserable 2005!

its not that 92 WL is a no hoper dude.. me got final call from NIRMA but not taking up and also ull see a lot more on this page whovw made it, but not taking it up.. i really feel that the waitlist will definitely move very briskly... BTW, did u get email abt waitlist or u jus called??/

Thanx man! But not pinning too much hopes, (actually no hopes!) if it happens ...well and good.
The wait list is'nt up on the site...just call them up....the lady at the recep did not have the waitlist (only the selected list)..so she connected me to the admissions dept, which is where i found out.
Request to all PGites not taking up Nirma ( W/L people included) do post a msg saying so..may or may not help me..but sure will ease the tension for others above me in the W/L
Hey btw sandy ..im not sure if u remember me....we met at Bang...ur batch was after mine. ( Sandeep Nair & gurudeep's friend!!). U had an IIM L call right? Correct me if im mistaken. All the best for that one. & yes congrats on Nirma!
