Thanks for opening the thread at the right forum... And that too by a senior.
Do you have any idea about the tentative dates for gd-pi as the process have already got delayed by so much... I am asking this because i have my graduation exams in the second half of march. And last year did they conduct gds at kolkata?

Congratulations to all the call getters

And at nirma in your batch can you tell me what is the approximate number of students from arts background. And in your knowledge is there any geography graduate if at all!! I happen to ask these questions just to get an idea whether there is a conscious effort to have students from all walks of life or whether such things does not matter at all.

please tell us the tentative dates for gd/pi in ahmedabad...and other centres..

Hi Shiv,

Though last year process started a bit early and Kolkata had GD/PI on 7 and 8th march. I don't think they will be delaying the GD/PI date by much, at the moment we don't have any info of dates. I will post the tentative dates tomorrow, need to talk to admission office.

Shiv,

We have nearly 80% students from engineering back ground and remaining people are from other disciplines like arts , commerce and science. I don' t have the exact numbers at present but there is no point in getting disheartened, the composition can change depending on the application. Every college looks for diversity and NIRMA is no exception, we don't we have any one from geography back ground but few people with history are there. I would say don't worry about these things and try to give your best during GD/PI, you have equal chance of getting selected.

i got a call at 91.18%ile
