Hello Sir,

I am in my final year of B.Tech and I've been wanting to do a fashion management course of pg level at nift. Ive a read a little about both MFM and M.Ftech. Currently, i am being offered a Systems engineer profile, 3.25 lac/p.a in Infosys. I've no interest in IT, i dont know if i should go in just for the money :\
Is it worth dropping the placement offer and going for masters in fashion management? Very very confused
please guide!

Eliza frm Mid nov to jan 1st week u can apply for the course, n for all basic enquiry check website............and packages for last year ws decent ..........now lets see dis year............

Hi, On one of the sites it says that the GAT for Master in Fashion Technology and Management includes the following:

Differential Calculus
Integral Calculus
Probability and Statistics
Linear Programming
Fundamentals of Computer Applications
Differential Equations
Production Engineering

But these are not covered in last year papers. Is the syllabus changing for this year???

no none of above said topics comes in nift pg tech,mgmt in gat exam...........maths is quite simple basic wala....

I gave my nift Exam for mfm last year and secured 45 rank. The written exam was quite simple and for GD and PI you need to be bit focused.

For Written exam go through with some GK books as these questions are the easy one to solve and take minimum time.

Quant section is basic maths of 10th and 12th standard and verbal was not that much tough either.

Thank You Moderator for starting this thread.. 😃
I'm applying for MFM and have few queries,
First, will I get the form directly after paying 250/- at any NIFT center or I'll have to make a DD in favor of NIFT?
Second, are forms available in Axis Banks too??
Third, What will be the questions in 2nd exam (Mat) and will it be on the same day?
Fourth,where can we get previous year question papers??
and Last but not the Least, Please through some light on the placement scenario (though I know, I should not ask about the placement thing but MFM is really new to me )

Guys for G.K read newspapers daily and I'd also say read pratyogita darpan..
well I'll check if I can provide any material then I'll surely post it to the thread..
