the credit mark by normalisation is not only by accuracy and level of the paper and also the level of each question we did because tough paper also having some easy question and easy paper also having some tough questions

What is ‘Normalisation’ and why is it done? ‘Normalisation’ is a process which IBPS employs in order to evaluate the performance of the candidates on the basis of similar exam parameters, especially difficulty level. The exams conducted by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection often take place in various shifts. The sectional and overall level, as well as the topics, vary for each slot. The questions may be easier in one slot and comparatively difficult in the other. So, for the fair evaluation of the exam marks of candidates, IBPS normalizes the scores obtained by the candidates in the different shifts of this exam. Basically, normalization aims to adjust the difficulty level across different sessions of the exam. Now, another important question that arises here is, how is it done. Let’s check it out below. How is Normalisation of marks done by IBPS? The normalisation of exam marks is done using the Equi-Percentile method. Let us see, how it is done. First, the percentile rank of the students for each shift of the exam is calculated using the formula given below: After that, based on the number of available vacancies, a cutoff percentile rank is decided. Based on this cutoff score, candidates are shortlisted for the next phase of the recruitment process. We will illustrate the above formula with the help of an example. Let us consider 2 shifts of IBPS PO Prelims exam. For Shift 1, let's say 5 students appeared for the exam. Student Name Marks obtained (Out of 50) Rank of the Candidate in the shift Percentile rank of the candidate (using the above formula) A 49 1 100% B 48 2 75% C 47 3 50% D 46 4 25% E 45 5 0% Now, for shift 2, let's say 8 students appeared for the exam. Student Name Marks obtained (Out of 50) Rank of the Candidate in the shift Percentile rank of the candidate (using the above formula) P 35 1 100% Q 34 2 85.71% R 32 3 71.42% S 31 4 57.14% T 29 5 42.86% U 27 6 28.57% V 25 7 14.28% W 24 8 0% Post this, a cutoff score is set by the exam conducting organization. Say the cutoff is decided at 43%. Now, students of all the shifts, who scored 43% and percentile marks above that will qualify the exam. If we have a look at the above shifts, A, B, C, P, Q, R, and S will qualify the exam, while D, E, T, U, V, and W will not qualify the said exam. How Normalisation of scores helps? Students are often worried that their exam shift was difficult as compared to the other slots. The above formula normalizes the score of the candidates. Thus, even if a certain shift is hard as compared to others, the candidates receive a fair evaluation of their performance
Let's just assume if a Person from 1st Shift (very easy) attempts 80 Questions, with 100% accuracy..🙄🙄..what will be his final score after Proper Normalisation according to you..?.😒😒
