I have recently come across a NGO which runs a number of Orphanage and Platform schools in Bhubanehwar and nearby area.
Platform Schools are the one where just a bunch of kids are gathered together to teach them like near a construction site , Chawl near railway etc.
Ruchika Social Service Organization to Aid Children in India
is the name of organization who is running this schools .
We started by contributing biscuits and painting color and paper worth 300 bucks ....but it was really nice to see the expression of those orphan kids 
...when we reached there.
