The National Exit Test is a suggested amendment in the Indian Medical Council Act. Every MBBS graduate will have to pass this Exit Test in order to practise as a doctor. The test replaces four examinations including-  Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE), National Licentiate Examination (NLE) and the examination held for Central Medical Services (CMS).
