My Chances at IIMs and other short term certifications

Hello Guys,

I did my BSc (PCM) and MA (Economics) in 2007 and 2009 with 38% and 50% marks respectively.

I have been working since 2004 (I did my 12th from CBSE in 2004 with 72% marks and 10th from ICSE in 2002 with 84% marks) as Office Manager/MIS Analyst managing office operations and reporting requirements in Engineering Consulting Sector.

Now I wish to pursue MBA Finance (second preference Business Analytics) and because of low marks I have enrolled in a distance BA from Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan University and my graduation will be completed in June 2015 and is expecting around 65% marks.

I am looking to enroll for MBA in 2017 and preparing for CAT 2016.

I belong to OBC category and I am targeting new IIMs, can you please tell with my profile will it be achievable to get admission provided I get a percentile of around 95 and average interview.

Also, I wish to utilise the time I have in hand to get certifications in Finance (or Business Analytics) which will further enhance my candidacy as far admission is concerned. I wish to join Consulting Sector post my MBA as Financial Analyst.

Thanks and Regards
