Dear All,
Can somebody (from his personal exp) put some light on secialized masters or MscBA from european top colleges like RSM, HEC etc.
How the program is ? whats the value of these programs ? is it advisable to go for such programs if one is not admitted into MBA.

Please took some valuable time of yours to pin down your personal exp or exp of people who have done theseprog and people know them

thanks in advance

hi,
not sure if anyone reads this thread nowadays, but still...
HMG, I see that you are in Netherlands. Can I ask you what are you doing (I mean, have you chosen the MScBA)?

Buddy
AS you pointed out that this thread is sometime old....Would advise you to PM the concerned person instead of posting on a dormant thread.

All the best.

I'm a graduate student at RSM. I'm currently attending my Executive MSc.BA.
I have my undergraduate studies in Business Administration and Economics completed at Rotterdam Business School (Holland) and Universidad de Deusto (Spain).

I can say that an MSc.BA from RSM is very good choice if you don't get into a MBA. I got into both the MBA and MSc.BA program. I choose to start with the MSc.BA program because it has a scientific background. Personally I believe MBA's are overrated. All major European Universities offer MSc.BA's, the only reason (I believe) they offer MBA's is to attract grad studenents from outside the EU. It's just a commercial gimmick. I feel like you learn a hell of a lot more during an MSc.BA with a concentration on Strategic Management, compared to any given MBA.

I can also say that an MSc.BA from a top European University, like RMS, HEC, London School of Economics etc. is globally just as well recognized and at least as well appreciated as an MBA from outside or inside the EU.

Yesterday I got call for MScBA-General Mgmt. Can anyone tell me the job situation nowdays in Netherlands or may be Europe. What is the worth of this course nowadays? Is it well accepted in Europe?
