I am currently pursuing a nameless B.tech ,it is uninspiring and I am almost disgusted.Given the lack of interest I failed to get good grades or do anything which would do any good to my profile.
However I have learnt some programming(self taught) and I am progressing on to doing my masters in computer science.I have always like computer science but peer pressure and etc reasons led me to do ECE.
I opted to do computer science because
1.I didnt want to have the regret that I didnt give a try at it even once and also buying two years for MS will give me time to decide as to what I really want to do.
2.During the two years time I was planning on improving my profile, like get good grades( so that my bad undergrad grades wouldnt reflect on my profile as much) and get quality internship experience and whatever would help me acquire a good B school admission.By good I mean top 20 in the world or in the US.
3.I am also looking forward to finish my MS as soon as possible like within one and a half years of time,so that I can indulge in more quality work experience towards my MBA.
Now my doubts are :
1.Would my undergraduate education still reflect on my profile and have a bad impact?
2.I am having a lot of time currently I can actually prepare for GMAT but is it the right time to give the GMAT?When should I ideally be giving it?
3.I have admits from both CS and MIS branches, from mediocre tire 2 universities, should I ideally be taking MIS because it will be providing a proper and better drift towards my MBA?
4.Also,I d like to fight for social causes as such,will doing a social entrepreneurship MBA be any beneficial speaking of monetary terms?
I am sure however that I am passionate about giving my GMAT and doing an MBA.Please help me out.I had many more questions in my mind but these are the only few that I can remember.
