Suppose u r very much disturbed with something and then u go back to your room and cause destruction i.e tod phod( read in hindi).. After u r finished with ur desrtruction you feel tired and lack in energy,

and thats what the word means...

"the state of not being active and having no energy or enthusiasm"

My new word is

ACOLYTE

break dis word into A + CEO + LITE
a lite CEO of the company
and this can be imagined as a rookie CEO
and that's that meaning of acolyte
ACOLYTE-> ROOKIE

OK so acolyte means a follower and i m sorry 4 my mistake but now atleast i will alwys remember the maening of acolyte

so thats gr8 anky

(link===APHORISOM from HT horizons)

yeh it does mean a follower or an assistant.. not a rookie...

facade - Front of the building, illusion, deceptive appearance

Fac ade can be seen as face which is always in the front. Another meaning is deception or illusion. It can be seen from fac (read fake) which is nothing but illusion or deception which would fade away after some time.

Next dose:

grandiloquent - pompous, excessively eloquent

very simple to remember. Break grand and eloquent which is the grand or mega way of expressing something i.e. pompus

inane - silly, foolish, lacking sense; empty, void

Remember the word insane. Insane person doesnt have a mind to think and understand and hence he is void.
i think we all can think togehter make cool Mnenomics to remember the difficult

PICCADILLO
PICADILLO means "'small forgivable mistake"

I believe its Peccadillo

:satisfie:

Solid_Snake Says
I believe its Peccadillo

this is the major drawback of this technique that one may be doubtful of spellings of the words. But advantages clearly overweigh disadvantages here. :satisfie: :satisfie: :satisfie:

next word is

ABET -> encourage or assist someone to do something

can be broken as A + BET
and it can be thought of as assisting someone in BETTING whih actualy is very bad
and hence the meaning of the word logically follows.
