spent a yr nurturing my MICA dream...

now i a givin it up for MDI....

how i wish i cud do a "have cake eat cake" and take up both....

hey guys...waitlisted...BMS graduate from Mumbai...had a bad GD...good interview...infact the guys from panel 3 in Mumbai would know me...i was the one who had missed his GD and hence was the last person to be interviewed in Mumbai...anyways...hope to make it...they say chances r bright!!...praying...

this is so confusing. the MICA site says i've made it but when i spoke to them on the phone right now, like right now, they said they have not announced the result... whats the deal? i'm stuck in a moment...

I guess by now everyone on this forum knows moi and my dream to be a Mican...havent spoken enuf about it.... ...Hey May B You went in after me in panel 3...how can i forget the endless chakkars u were taking on the 3 rd floor of JB....made me feel dizzy just to look at you....anyways the guy whose leaving mica for mdi...THANK YOU!!!!!...i hope there are many more people who do so, so that me and many others who are waitlisted like me may get through...at the end of the day i guess the people who want it the most should get in...what say????? No news from bugs, jormund, Clueless, scarlet and HRH?????????

I checked the result , how do u get to know u have been shortlisted , coz they have said that i should look out for the next list coz my name does not appear in the first list ...........does dat mean i am in the waitlist or totally out:shock:

I have the same question..i called MICA they say the second listsd be out maximum within a week..but i guess the lady was not sure herself..but my question still is whether waitlisted people got any message saying 'they r waitlisted' or wait for second list???

We are sorry to inform that you are not in the first list. However kindly look for the next waitlist which may be declared shortly.

It means, there will be a second shortlist..... if required... So keep ur fingers crossed.

Question for those in Mica now:

When does the academic year start? Even a tentative date will do. In June sometime isn't it?

2003 passout from BITS- Pilani. One yr work ex in Cognizant. One yr with dad's business. Really passionate about communication . But waiting for xlri results also to make a final decision.

wait for the second list they say, ya right, feels like i have been born to wait.
congrats to all those who are in. gr8 work. kari , it is really surprising tht u be waitlisted but i think u'll go thru as ppl take other calls and u must have missed by a whisker. best of luck and pray for me too...

Hey guys... Finally.. Pappu(Main) pass ho gaya.. yep me got selected in the final list of admissions to MICA. Great feeling... congratulations to all the guys who made it.. and ATB to those who are on the waiting list... Im def takin MICA.. its been a dream.. i currently am working part time at Leo Burnett.. so this seems like an appropriate extension...

Any ways.. see all my fellow MICANS at Ahmedabad..btw.. when does college start.. cant wait any longer to snuggle into one of those rooms.. cya

Mica ppl please enlighten us ....how many final calls...??
also wot does "Chances of gettng confirmed are very high"mean....I guess they are pretty sure the first list will clear cos they r also saying tht a second waitlist will be put up soon for those who didnt get shortlisted.....

does anyone have any idea but no. of final calls and also did they finally increase the intake to 120...??
